Bathroom: The adjacent bathroom has a walk-in shower with a large chrome shower head. Bathrobes and slippers are provided.

This spacious apartment is located on first floor and has beautiful bay windows in both the lounge and bedroom overlooking the front aspect of the house

Lounge & Kitchen: The open plan lounge with a fully equipped kitchen including full size oven, hob, microwave, washer/dryer and integrated fridge/freezer. Pans, kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided.

Bedroom: The large bedroom is equipped with a Super King Size bed, (can be made into a twin on request) large wardrobe, chest of drawers and an easy chair.

Nearby attractions to Fairhaven Lake

St Annes Beach is a great location to walk your dog to Lytham along the newly renovated promenade and walkway, which takes approximately 1 hour. This beautiful walk passes by Fairhaven Lake which has a very popular RSPB centre. The lake built in 1900 was the former location of Fairhaven Golf Course with the Cafe located at the lake being the original Golf Club house.

St Annes on Sea History

St Annes was built from 1870 onwards as a new holiday town close to Lytham with Fairhaven and Ansdell located in between two separate towns. The town was built after the railway opened in 1875 with the town St Annes Hotel also being built.

In 1922 the towns were joined under the name Lytham St Annes. The towns are part of the Borough of Fylde with St Annes on Sea having its own Parish Council since 2005. The town of Lytham St Annes was founded by The St Annes Land and Building company which bought leases from the Clifton Estate. The town was laid out by the architects. from Bury, Maxwell and Tuke who also designed Blackpool Tower! 

St Annes-on-the-Sea Carnegie Library is just outside the town centre in an Edwardian, Carnegie-funded building.

St Annes Promenade had an open-air swimming pool built in 1916 and was very popular for many years in the summer months until the mid-1980s when it unfortunately fell into decline and closed. It was then redeveloped into a casino and Toby Pub, along with a Cinema. The local YMCA community swimming pool is also on the site and is very popular with holiday apartment guests and locals. Located behind the YMCA is the modern RNLI lifeboat station which overlooks the Ribble Estuary which flows into Preston and over to Southport. A memorial statue of a lifeboatman was placed on the promenade at St Anne's after the Mexico Disaster of 1886. The original lifeboat station was established in 1881 but closed in 1925 due to the silting of the channel (a secondary channel of the Ribble that ran past the pier. A lifeboat continued to operate from Lytham, but the main channel of the river also became silted up, so the lifeboat was moved to a new all-weather RNLI base a few hundred yards south of St Annes pier which opened in 2000.

Rugby legend Sir Bill Beaumont lives in Lytham and is often seen around town and at the Grand Hotel St Annes, Comedian Roy Walker is known as the original host of Catchphrase and lives in Lytham. Roy's son Phil Walker also lives in the town and hosts the local Comedy Club Nights at Ashton Gardens Theatre in Lytham. Singer Josef Locke, who died in 1999, lived in Lytham St Anne. Les Dawson's daughter Charlotte Dawson has carved a TV career of her own and lives in Lytham. Bobby Ball lived in St Annes and was a popular member of the local community. Going back a few years George Formby made St Annes his home on the promenade.
