This prestigious course first opened its doors in 1895, and has enjoyed a successful, illustrious operation, within the golfing community. Its pristine greens and well kept fairways have enabled it to be labeled by golf world as one of ‘The Best 10 ‘Open Championship’ Qualifying Courses’, and ‘Great Britain & Ireland’s Best 10 Opening Holes’.
It is also home to many exciting events including the amateur international golfing competition, one of which, fostered golfer Sergio Garcia’s stellar career.

Founded in 1901 this is another high calibre golf course right on St Anne’s doorstep. This course has an enviable members list and this is due to the detail and deliberation shown in the design of each and every hole. It is a challenging round from start to finish and has its infamous and dubious 9th hole ready to be reckoned with.
The links has long been an official qualifying venue for the Open and this is indicative of the quality of this course.

Lytham Green Drive is stones throw from Lytham town centre and is set in and amongst fabulous pastures and meadows and is another of the local courses to have played host to several first class “Open” events.
Although it is one of the shorter courses in length (6,305 yards), it still provides a tough challenge with many perilous dog-legs, tight precarious corners and a litter of “well bunkered greens”.
